Wolf Wigo’s 2024 Turbo Santa Barbara Water Polo Camp is designed to help prepare your athletes for the rest of their water polo career. The camp is designed to have a direct impact on your overall game and let you have fun doing it. While fitness is a key aspect to a great water polo player our camp philosophy focuses on fundamental position, ball skills and scrimmaging. Therefore, the camp will focus on an intense review of all fundamental aspects of the game. From basic defensive position, to drive shooting to 2m “O” to 6vs5 shooting to 2m “D” to 5vs6 base defensive position.
The Goalkeeper Academy of the camp is typically run by Olympic goalkeepers Genai Kerr and Andy Stevens, along with current UC Santa Barbara current goalkeeper coaches and goalkeepers, and will focus on all aspects of goalie specific movement and training.
Santa Barbara Water Polo Camp staff is made up of Olympians, NCAA Division I coaches, and U.S. National Team Players. Your athlete will be trained by the top coaches, providing them individualized instruction, evaluation, competition, and specialized techniques necessary to refine the athlete’s competitive and physical skills. Open to Boys and Girls. Residents and Day Campers.

Ages: The camp is open to athletes 10-18 years of age. For athletes under 10 years of age strong swimming ability and a basic knowledge of the game are required.
